Believe in Yourself

Pssst! Have you heard the recent news that believing in yourself may boost your self-worth and value?

It is a fundamental rule to have the utmost trust in ourselves in order to accomplish our dreams.  Often times, agendas or past opportunities steer us from believing that we can do this or that.  Periodically, our actions can often abet self-doubt and low esteem.

In our ever-growing society, self-esteem is one of the major problem that affect us on a daily basis.  We may have the tendency to wake up some mornings with self doubt, “Am I going to make it?” or “Am I good enough?”  Undoubtedly we begin to go down this negative spiral of hopelessness which sometimes affect our confidence and personal life.

Believing in yourself does not come overnight but begins with a process.  In order for this process to work, it is often a good idea to recite positive affirmation each day by repeating it all day until you actually believe it! Seek scriptural advice through the Word of God daily. He will direct your path. 

Oscar Wilde once said, “To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance”  and rightly so!

Today, take the first steps to believing that you can do all things; when  you believe in yourself the world will see you as you see yourself; awesome!

First, make a feel-good list about the things that you deem as bad and secondly, make a note of the good things that you are good at.  Secondly, forgive yourself of past mistakes. Learn from them. Allow yourself to be the person God created you to be.

Receiving compliments from people can be good medicine for the soul.  By listing at least ten, both negative and positive, you can focus on the positive attributes.

Today, is the day that the Lord has made and YOU shall rejoice and be glad in it (Psalm 118:24).

Treat today as a brand new day by believing in yourself and self-worth.
